We assess the item, wrap it with suitable paper or cushioning, use an appropriately sized strong carton and fill gaps to limit movement. Artwork, antiques and unusually valuable goods need to be declared for a tailored plan.
How are the boxes labelled?
Boxes can be marked by destination room and handling needs so the crew knows where they belong. Keep a separate essentials box with medicines, chargers, keys and items needed on your first night.
What is excluded from packing?
Hazardous materials, perishables, cash, important documents and other restricted or high-value items need separate arrangements. We confirm exclusions and any special packing requirements before work begins.
How is packing priced?
The amount to pack, fragile items, materials and time required determine the price. A few photos or a video or home survey helps us quote for full, partial or fragile-only packing.
When should packing take place?
Most full packing is completed one or two days before the move, depending on the size of the property.
Can I pack some rooms myself?
Of course. A partial packing service is useful for kitchens, artwork, glassware and other delicate items.
Do you supply packing materials?
Yes. Boxes, tape, paper, bubble wrap and specialist covers can be included or supplied separately.
